Protecting your personal data is a major concern for Catamania (hereinafter “Catamania” or “we” or “our”). In order to establish a lasting relationship of trust with our various interlocutors, we formalize the management and processing of the personal data we collect in the Catamania Data Privacy Policy.

We are committed to preserving the confidentiality, integrity and security of your data, in accordance with the legislation in force in France and in Europe, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter the “GDPR”).

This policy describes how your data is collected via www.catamania.com (hereinafter the “website”), as well as their processing.

What is personal data?

What data does Catamania process?

When you visit our website, no personal information is stored.

However, to access certain services, Catamania collects your data when you fill out the contact form, when you apply for a job offer or when you send us a spontaneous application.

We also sometimes process data about you from our business partners, including your use of our services on the website.

Why and how does Catamania process your data?

Catamania only processes your personal data for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes.

We process this data to respond to your request as efficiently as possible through the contact form.

When you apply for a job or submit a speculative application, we analyze your application, including the personal data provided.

This data may also be used for statistical purposes. In such cases, Catamania anonymizes it before use. We analyze visits to our website, peak times and the conversion rate following applications.

Retention period

We keep your personal data for a period of time in accordance with current legislation or in proportion to the purposes for which they were collected.

In compliance with the GDPR, we retain your data for periods ranging from 4 weeks to 24 months.

If you send us a message, we will keep it for 4 weeks, or 1 month. As for your personal data, it will be kept in our database for a period of 24 months.

Following an online application, and if you are not selected, we will delete all your personal data within a maximum period of 2 years, in accordance with the GDPR.

All your data is collected when you give us your consent in the contact and application forms. This agreement explains our privacy policy and the general conditions of use of data.

However, if legal and regulatory obligations require us to do so, we may retain your data for a longer period.

How do we secure your personal data?

Catamania ensures that your personal data is stored and processed securely and confidentially. To do this, your personal data is stored in France on dedicated and secure servers with restricted access. We implement administrative, technical and physical measures to protect their access.

Who can access your personal data?

Visitor comments may be screened using an automated spam detection service.

Your personal data is intended for Catamania’s internal services. It may be communicated to the following entities:

  • Our recruitment center
  • Our local managers

Your data may also be shared with external third parties :

  • OTYS, when you apply

OTYS is one of our partners, a recruitment management software that uses an ATS (Applicant Tracking System). This ATS is an applicant tracking tool or more commonly called, recruiting software.

We ensure that these entities comply with the legislation in force and that the data communicated is legitimate. In this case, we communicate to OTYS only the data that you provide us when you apply for an offer.

We may transmit your data to the competent authorities, at their request, in the context of legal proceedings, judicial investigations, requests for information at the request of the authorities or in order to comply with other legal obligations. In this specific case, you will be informed.

Processing of data outside the European Union

Your personal data, in whole or in part, are processed outside the European Union, due to the location of our recruitment center (Morocco). We undertake to apply the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission, in order to guarantee you an appropriate level of security for your personal data.

Rights and exercising your rights

In order to respect your right of access, restriction and deletion of your data, we can delete your data upon your request. This action can take 1 month. You can also object to the processing carried out by Catamania or request its deletion. You also have the right to request the portability of your data.

You can exercise your rights at any time, you can contact our security department at the following email: rgpd@catamania.com.

In this case, you will need to provide proof of identity (national identity card, passport, residence permit, resident card or travel booklet issued by the French State) that is valid and list the data concerned to exercise your rights. A response will be sent to you within 1 month.

If you are not satisfied with your exchanges with Catamania, you have the possibility to file a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL), the supervisory authority responsible for compliance with obligations regarding personal data in France.

Modification of the Data Protection Policy

This present policy may be modified or improved at any time.
